Valerie Geary lives and writes in
the Pacific Northwest. She has a Bachelor's Degree in English from
Vanguard University of Southern California where she was recognized by
faculty and peers for Outstanding Literary Achievement. Her fiction has been published with Menda City Review, Flashquake, Foundling Review, the UK publication Litro, and others. She's a volunteer for S.M.A.R.T. (Start Making A Reader Today), a program that promotes literacy and mentors young readers. Her favorite books are as follows, though in no particular order: The Handmaid's Tale, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Atonement, The Road, and A Wrinkle In Time.
