The Writer

I am a full-time fiction writer and part-time gardener. My husband built a 14-foot sailboat in our garage two years ago and so now I am a sailor too (but not a pirate). I speak a little Spanish and even less French. I probably read too much, sleep too much, and eat far too many M&Ms for my own good, but who's really counting these things anyway?     

My short fiction has been published with Menda City Review, Boston Literary Magazine, Foundling Review, the UK publication Litro, and others. Yes, I also write novels. No, none have been published. Yet.   

And finally. My absolute, all-time, must-read, favorite books in no particular order: The Handmaid's Tale, Gone Girl, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Atonement, Rebecca, The Road, Where'd You Go Bernadette, and A Wrinkle In Time.
